Somaliland Unity and Recognition Initiative (SURI)

(SURI) is a bridge builders public forum, building bridges, one bridge at a time, for Peace, Unity and Global Engagement. Our shared values are deeply rooted in the hopes of ordinary citizens and shared across every corner of Somaliland from all regions, so we founded SURI, a bold and timely initiative PLATFORM aimed at healing the fractures within our society and bridging Somaliland with the world.

SURI is more than just an idea — it is a movement driven by the urgent need to bridge the dangerous divides that continue to tear at the social and political fabric of our nation. It is a positive media platform that aims to amplify voices of peace and harmony, challenging the senseless the voices of division and violence to define our future.

SURI is a platform for fostering understanding, dialogue, and peace among Somalilanders from all walks of life. By promoting positive narratives, countering tribal hatred, and championing national unity, we aim to support peaceful solutions to any conflict that destroys bridges.

Our mission is singular and unwavering — to close the gaps that divide us. We believe that only through unity, honest dialogue, and a collective commitment to peace, can we build a better future for our children.
